Museum hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Sunday, 1-4:30 p.m. Closed major holidays and closed on Sundays from May through September.
Admission: $6 general, $4 seniors and students (14-21), free for children ages 13 and under.

Everything's A Portrait: The Watercolors of Dean Mitchell
Mitchell is a national, award-winning, African-American artist known for his figurative works, landscapes and still lifes in watercolor, acrylics, etchings and oils. This retrospective exhibit celebrates "the beauty of the real." Reared in Quincy, Florida, Dean Mitchell is a graduate of the Columbus College of Art & Design (Ohio). His work has been influenced by Rembrandt, Edward Hopper and Andrew Wyeth.

This exhibit is located in the Crest Theatre galleries. Viewing hours are Mon.-Fri., 10 am-4 pm and weekends during Crest performances.

Paintings beneath the Sea by Jason Mathias
Florida artist, Jason Mathias is known for his exquisite oils, acrylics and watercolors of the underwater world of creatures. Using underwater video shot while diving off the Florida and Cayman Island coasts, Jason garners the inspiration and reference for his marine life paintings. A graduate of the Ringling School of Art and Design, Jason was the premier featured artist at the International Game Fish Association Museum and Hall of Fame within two years of his graduation.
Showing concurrently: Divers' Treasure
A collection of treasure and treasured artifacts, by sea and land, from the days of tall sailing galleons and pirate ships (1500's to 1800's).
September 4-November 15, 2008 - Florida Watercolor Society Juried Exhibition
