Old School Square Cultural Arts Center, Delray Beach, FL

Volunteers are a very important part of Old School Square. In exchange for their valuable services, we offer training, incentives, recognition awards and special get-togethers. To find out how to get involved, call our Volunteer Coordinator at 561-243-7922, ext. 319.  Informational tours for new volunteers are on the third Wednesday of the month at 10 am.

Opportunities are available in the following areas:

Cornell Museum of Art & American Culture

• Greeters at the admission desk (museum opening, handling money)
• Survey Administrators 
• Gallery Monitors (knowledge of museum history and current exhibits)
• Museum Tour and Carousel Ride Assistants
• Hospitality for exhibit opening receptions

Crest Theatre

• Ushering for theater shows and theater rentals
• Ticket takers and scanners 
• Hospitality for pre-performance and intermission beverages
• Hospitality for Broadway Cabaret, Lecture and special event receptions

Special Events

• Trash & Treasure Yard Sale (fall and spring) - organize and price items donated to the OSS booth; booth sales and concessions on sale day
• Holiday Carousel (December-early January) - ticket sales
• Bake Sales and other fundraising Events
• Delray Affair Information Kiosk

Other

• Assist with children's education programs in both the museum and the theatre
• Assist with distribution of promotional materials.
